The SWI-V allows control of an aftermarket Audio/Video system using thevehicles factory steering wheel radio controls, while maintaining normalcontrol and operation of the factory stereo. The SWI-V converts the steeringwheel radio buttons to “DUAL” multipurpose controls. It allows your steeringwheel buttons to control aftermarket A/V equipment, in addition to the factoryradio. The interface will control most audio and video products that have an IRremote control. A remote IR emitter attaches to the front of the Audio/Video IRwindow. The SWI-V reads the factory steering wheel control data and translatesinto IR remote signals. The included toggle switch selects between factoryradio control or aftermarket A/V equipment control.
