Q&A: HOW MUCH ALCOHOL IS IN ONE DOSE OF COUGH SYRUP?

Question by LC:
How a lot alcohol is in 1 dose of cough syrup?

Okay, if you get cough syrup that states ten% alcohol, how a lot is in each dose taken? Is it ten% in each dose like a shot of liquor would be or is it a diverse quantity?
How is a dose of cough syrup compared to drinking a shot of whiskey, wine cooler, beer?

If the dose is 2 tablespoons that is a shot, but it is only ten% alcohol, or 20 proof. So not like a shot of liquor.
You can get alcohol no cost.

Considering that cough syrup is 100% emulsified (unable to be re-separated into its component elements) if the bottle is marked 10% alcohol, then that ratio will apply to each and each dose.

Answer by Capt C
It depends, ten% = 20 proof. So no, it’s nothing like a shot of liquor, much much less. Figure a shot is one ounce, jigger is an ounce and a half. Scotch (per say) is 80 proof, which is 40% alcohol, appear at it from that point.
